Bluegrass Festival with Del McCoury :
   Bluegrass legend Del McCoury performs with acts from across the
East during four days of bluegrass in sunny mountains of West
Virginia. Free performances will be enjoyed within the Snowshoe
Mountain Village while the main performances of July 4 & 5 will take
place on the Skidder Stage.

Wake up and See Stars:  
  Gather at the planetarium balloon every Thursday for a unique look at
the sky. There is a $3.00 charge per person and reservations are
suggested. Program begins at 2pm.

        If there is only one festival you can come to this year – this is the

Annual Fire on the Mountain Chili Cook-off :
       Snowshoe Mountain will be blazing as we turn up the heat for the
16th Annual Fire on the Mountain Chili Cook-off. Along with great live
entertainment and fun & games, we are giving away more than $15,000
in cash and prizes to the top chili cooks. Friday we’re serving up Green
& Salsa and Saturday is the day for Red! So…bring yourself and your
friends as we have a scorching great time!

       Join us for a guided tour though parts of NRAO normally off limits to
visitors, like lab areas where sensitive receivers are designed and built.

Pearl S. Buck Quilting Party:
 Enjoy three days of quilting instructed by area experts. Workshops
include "Winter Blessings," Dimensional Embroidery, and "Quick Trip
